Assistant Maintenance Manager

Job Description

Lead. Innovate. Elevate. HCA Real Estate Services is searching for a results-driven Facilities Assistant Maintenance Manager who thrives on leadership, efficiency, and quality.  If you’re ready to oversee and enhance facilities operations for 3,000 owned and managed apartments across San Diego County, we want to hear from you!

No Maintenance Background? No Problem!

This role is all about leadership, organization, and problem-solving.  If you’ve successfully managed teams, streamlined operations, or developed efficient systems whether in facilities, logistics hospitality, or another field you could be exactly what we’re looking for.


What You Bring to the Position (Nice-to-Have):

✅ A knack for finding creative solutions to operational challenges

✅ Proven experience developing and implementing programs

✅ Dependable, punctual, and committed to excellence

✅ Quick learner with the ability to retain and apply new knowledge

✅ Strong communication and active listening skills

✅ High-level leadership experience

✅ Valid driver’s license

✅ Bonus: Prior experience in multi-family property maintenance is a plus!
